Our Trees
We specialise in growing Nordman Fir and Fraser Fir Christmas trees. Both are needlefast (non-needle drop) varieties which, if properly looked after, will maintain their freshness over the Christmas and New Year period.
Nordman Fir (Abies Nordmannia)
The Nordman Fir is the established favourite non-needle drop variety of Christmas tree.
It has a beautiful shape, lovely dark green foliage and attractive silver bark. It has open spiky branches which lend themselves to attractive decoration and lighting.
Fraser Fir (Abies Fraseri)
A different kind of non-needle drop Christmas tree. It has denser foliage and a narrower shape than the Nordman fir with beautiful fragrance and scent.
We also sell potted Norway Spruce and smaller Nordmans on a wooden base as well as Christmas wreaths and logs.
For best needle retention it is recommended that all Christmas trees are placed in a proper water holding stand which is kept topped up with fresh water over the Christmas period. A Christmas tree can absorb up to 2 pints of water a day. Preferably the bottom inch of the trunk should be removed just before the tree is placed in the stand.
